We caught up with our cover boy and had a quick chat about his winter.
Hey Ryan, how does it feel to land on the cover of our latest issue?
Hey mate, I’m wrapped, really stoked. It was definitely a surprise, I wasn’t expecting it at all which is always a treat, because you never know what is going to come out of your winter. When you see one of your shots on the cover it makes things worth while. I love this photo, it was one of my favourite shots of the year and it looks good on the front.
What’s ya plan for winter?
Just basically waiting for the winter to start and in the meantime playing a bit of golf and surfing. I am pretty excited to go shred at Perisher and Thredbo this year, it looks like it is going to be a great season.
So you had a pretty good winter this year, are you happy?
I had a really good winter, I turned pro for DC which was also a surprise, it had been my dream for a long time and it finally happened so I am stoked, shredding was fun, it wasn’t as sunny in WHistler as it usually is but we still had some good days. I am pretty interested to see my part in the new DC movie this year although I am always my worst critic. Just stoked on how everything is turning out and stoked I landed on the cover of your mag.
